What are your turnaround times?

Artwork turnaround time can range from 48 to 72 hours, for quotations 48 hours; and for samples from 7 to 10 days for standard products (Woven & Printed Labels, Conventional Heat Transfers). Specialty products can take from 9 to 12 business days (Hang Tags, Decorative Heat Transfers, Rubber Labels, other special techniques).

Can I approve my artwork/sample board via email?

Yes, you can scan the signed artwork/sample board and submit to us via email.

We don't have a trim designer. Can your team create artwork for us free of charge?

Yes, Finotex offers to all our customers our design department services free of charge. You will be able to review and approve your label artwork before your order is put into production.

How many colors can my trim have?

Woven labels (Elite, Damask, Taffeta, Satin): Up to 8 colors. Sublime® woven labels: Can have unlimited colors. Screen printed labels: Up to 4 colors printed onto the label material. Flexo printed labels: Up to 6 color on front & Up to 2 on reverse side. Conventional Heat Transfer: Up to 8 colors (Some specialty only admits 1 color).

Is it necessary to provide fabric/fiber content to any type/technique for heat transfers or for developing samples?

Yes, quotation/ink formula/testing are based on fiber content fabrics.

Who assumes the costs of the sample?

As part of our service, Finotex offers samples free of charge for our standard products. In the case of some specialty products, a small fee is requested, which is then credited to your payment if the order of the developed product is placed within 3 months following the delivery of the sample.

Is there a set-up fee for rubber and specialty products?

Yes, price will depend on material, design, elaboration and dimension. This charge will be waived if we receive an order of the developed product within 3 months.

What is the process of ordering labels?

Once you have your artwork/sample is approved you should submit your production order using the code of the approved sample. Our sales representative will e-mail you a delivery estimate within 1-2 business day.

What is the minimum order quantity?

Woven Labels: 5,000 units with a 1K SKU per SKU. Printed Labels: 5,000 units with a 1K per SKU. Hang Tags: 5,000 units with a 1K per SKU. Heat Transfer Labels: 5,000 units with a 1K per SKU. Rubber Labels: 3,000 pieces. Other specialties: Please inquire to your sales representative. In case, your total order doesn’t reach the min-imum amount of US$100, the minimum quan-tities don’t apply.

How long are prices guaranteed for?

The prices on a quote are guaranteed for one month. When the customer approves the price is held for a year. At the end of the year, the prices are reviewed to confirm if they can be held for an equal or greater period.

Do I have to pay customs and duty if my order is shipped outside the country?

Orders shipped to international locations may be subject to the customs and duties charges required by that country. If the total amount of the order exceeds the minimum of US$1,000, we will assume the charges of customs, duty and shipping.

Do all of your factories use the same type of machines and are the quality and products the same across countries?

Finotex constantly strives to offer the latest technology to its customers and looks for the better materials for our products. This allow us to reproduce your product in any of our fa-cilities around the world, with the same quality and raw material.

Do you have the capacity to develop heat transfers for special fabrics (DWR, ultra stretched synthetics, FR, etc.)?

Yes, our Research & Development Product department works constantly on new formulas and performing tests before launching them to the market. When our customers need a development for special fabrics we only need the sample of the fabric and know what kind of finish and the additional process will be put through.

Which washing tests does Finotex perform?

Finotex performs the following testing at our internal laboratory in our El Salvador, Honduras, Mexico and Colombia facilities: Home Laundry Cycles; Chlorinated water using the ISO 105-E-03 Textile Test for color fastness; Salt water testing using the AATCC 106 Colorfastness to Salt water norm, Dry Cleaning Testing and Industrial wash testing.

Are all Finotex products certified for harmful substances?

Yes, our standard products are certificated under the STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®
